fall into fractals

When I'm not taking photographs or entertaining myself with music, I like to experiment with fractal art. What exactly is a fractal and how is it made? This type of art form typically offers the artist minimal control over in terms of anticipating and shaping its form and structure, as the fractal is created through mathematical algorithms and patterns. However, the infinite complexity of these patterns (especially when combined with different color schemes and gradients) is truly something to be admired.

These are fractals that I have created in my spare time.
